GeoDropbox — the technical cloud that understands your projects
Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive store files. GeoDropbox stores projects. It is the GeoStru cloud platform where every job lives on its geographic location, BIM models open and can be inspected straight in the browser, technical data — reports, construction drawings, photos, tests — is readable and searchable, and it is connected to GeoStru’s artificial intelligence, which finds your data and puts it to work. One place, secure and always available, that becomes the digital twin of your practice’s archive.
Not just any cloud
A generic cloud stores files — GeoDropbox stores georeferenced projects, linked to one another.
A generic cloud searches by file name — GeoDropbox puts the AI to work on your documents: by content, by place and by kind of data.
A generic cloud only opens files through external software — GeoDropbox displays BIM/IFC models and technical data directly online.
A generic cloud has flat folders — GeoDropbox organises the archive on a map, by project and over time, the way a technical practice thinks.
What you can do
Integrated with GeoStru’s artificial intelligence
Your documents and your data become the context the geostru.ai artificial intelligence works on: you question the archive in plain language, pull out values and information, compare projects and find the right report. You are not just filing things away — you are putting the AI to work on your own data.
Map archive, the digital twin of your archive — every project sits on its own location: you find past work by area and open its documents and data with one click.
BIM models always at hand — upload, view and inspect BIM/IFC models in the browser and in 3D, manage revisions and share them with clients and collaborators without anyone having to install a thing.
Readable technical data — reports in PDF and DOCX, DXF and DWG drawings, stratigraphic columns and tests, consultable directly and not just downloadable.
Bring everything in, and stay free to leave — already have your projects filed away on your PC? Import whole folder trees into GeoDropbox exactly as they are. And export the entire tree back to your computer whenever you want: the data stays yours, no lock-in.
Anywhere, even from your phone — desktop and mobile, on site as well as in the office.
Part of the GeoStru ecosystem — save and open files straight from the desktop software, from geoapp and from geostru.ai.
Security and privacy
Your data is held on Google cloud infrastructure, encrypted and protected, with backups. And above all: only you — and whoever you decide — can see your projects. GeoDropbox is not an archive the system can browse: nobody, not even GeoStru’s own engineers, can open or read your work.
Who it is for
Engineering and geology practices, construction companies and designers, public bodies and administrations that handle a large number of georeferenced projects and BIM models and want to find, consult and share them without losing time.
Plans
Start free, move up when your archive grows. Storage plans are billed monthly and are separate from the app credits of the GeoStru NX suite.
